I went to the Harold Washington Public Library to see the very interesting exhibit: 'Branching Out: Chicago Public Library in the Neighborhoods'. Afterwards, I headed west on Roosevelt and got this pretty shot of the downtown skyline (along with the Dan Ryan Expy).

P.S. And that tall baby in the middle is known — at least by people truly from Chicago— as the Sears Tower !!!
