This goes back a bit but I do like the photo. It's of a number of volunteers in the Kerry Campaign looking for sign-ups in Milwaukee. We're talking '2004' and I had just gotten back to Chi-town the summer before (i.e. 2003).
I had been in my bedroom (doors closed) so I didn't hear any of their preliminary knocking. They busted open my front-door (see photo). It was a huge destructive entry into my apartment. They saw me, said they were trying to investigate the smell coming out of my apartment (i.e. a box of old salad I had put near the front door so that I would remember to throw out the next day). They informed me of that and then simply left. Yuck!
