Chicago Reader Returned to Weekly (2014)

Interesting article from 2014 explaining why the Chicago Reader was returning from bi-weekly to a weekly publication:

Chicago Reader Back to Being a Weekly -- Nice!

Wow, the ChicagoReader announced that they're back to publishing once a week -- and that's once a week in print! All I can say (while sending them a contribution) is: nice!!!

Chicago Reader 50ish UnGala - Wow!

Rushed over to the Reader 50ish UnGala Celebration right after I finished my early evening shift at the library. Hoo Baby! The place was packed. It occupied all 4 floors of the Museum of Contemporary Art and each floor was absolutely full of the most wonderfully dressed individuals -- not just a handful but hundreds. Incredible.

Ah, the Good Old Days
